Ah yes. The hype about Vista. Well, after the lengthy process of moving old parts of my computer to a new one, I finally got it running. Running on a AMD 64 3500+ and 2GBs of RAM, it's managing fine, however, my graphics card - is not. Rated 1/10 by Mr Gates, my computer cannot handle the high end of graphics, that is, watching videos. :( Oh well, I'll probably fork out more $$ soon to get a proper card, as this was an old card around the house.
So what is new in Vista? To start off, it took 15 minutes to install. You read it right. 15 minutes! Easy installation, no problems. Blissful background music and all, (unlike Zune's installation) and got the computer running quite quickly. As expected, a much better look, with widgets and media centre as standard programs.
The Start Menu has changed, instead of going All Programs > Accessories > etc. - the new Start Menu all happens in one column, so no menus that move right across the screen. The layout of such windows like 'My Computer' are much better organised. No problems as of yet with navigation. There have been several popups about 'Is this program safe?' with a lot of programs I use [iTunes, Firefox] but that is only for installation.

And don't bother trying to download a non-legit copy off Limewire/bitTorrent, after a while [30 days], after connecting to the Internet, Mr Gates will know, and your computer will simply die.
That's it for now, adios amigos!
