OMG! It's the first of July. There's nothing special really, just that it is the day after the 30th of June. Nothing special about that day either. Good day though - woke up to the phone call of a friend in Paris (Hey Chris), and told him how bad House Shout was (Sorry guys, it really wasn't that good). Anyway, then left for the first Krispy Kreme opening in Canberra. "PRIVATE FUNCTION - Invitation Only" read the sign. I shone my invite, and they let me in with a smile. With $30 to spend with two other friends, there was so much to choose from. We decided to purchase the 24 doughnut pack, and then pay extra for the milkshakes. Due to the lack of experience (or just pure stupidity), the cashier charged as nothing. Yay! Anyway, we went outside and slowly started to munch through the doughnuts. We laughed at all the people who walked past asking if they could come in. "Sorry, invited people only. Opens in 5 days" was the response. I'm quite sick of them quite frankly (and I only had 2). A staff member came out and to us that if we were the first in line on the official opening day, we would get a year's supply of Krispy Kreme doughnuts... yay? Nay.
So yeah, in return for all the free stuff today, I want to help them advertise. So...
Krispy Kreme in Woden officially opens on the 6th of July at 6:30am. Go and get your year's worth supply of it. Yay?
Anyway, after that, went and got a haircut. $24.50. :'( $$$. Why am I paying so much for getting rid of something? Outrageous! It's a nice style though ;)
Oh yeah, another rant > Newspapers. Stealing. What the? We have some random that steals our delivered newspapers on the weekend. Seriously, it's a newspaper. They are like $1.50. Then when I went to my piano teacher's house, same story. Stolen newspapers. If you are reading this and you steal newspapers, please don't. I want to know my answers for the cryptic crossword.
