Melbourne, Pretzels and an iPhone PDF Print E-mail
So I got an iPhone (that is unlocked in Australia)! But onto that later...

So I left for Melbourne yesterday on a 767-400 plane that was way too big for Canberra. Only a third of the plane was occupied... how unnecessary.

The flight took 42 minutes, perfect weather all the way. Got fed a fancy fruit cup cake in a fancy box and a bottle of Nestle Peach Tea. (Not too bad, tasted very grapey)

Arrived in Melbourne (3rd time there) and went to the hotel. As my brother went to a meet and greet session, I had one hour to explore Melbourne by myself. I couldn't remember much the last time I went, so it was very new. Firstly, as I remember about Melbourne, there are trams.

But some people still forgot that we've moved on...

Then skip three hours of watching very interesting business presentations on entrepreneurship, a food break, more presentations, my brother receiving 2nd place (beaten by a 27 year old millionaire) and then back to the hotel. It is situated inside a shopping mall. Yes... INSIDE.

That view is from inside the hotel room. Odd indeed. Then a nice dinner at this place.

Followed by Die Hard 4.0 at this place and then a walk back to the hotel at midnight.

Spent the whole next day shopping, eating Pretzels at the Qantas Lounge and flying back home on a very turbulent flight. What a nice break.
